I found a sweet deal on front fenders and GS hood for my 72 Skylark. My fenders need replaced anyway becuase they were bondo fixed many years ago and are showing badly. The parts are VFN. As I understand it a guy has to fab up some stuff to mount the rear bottom and the front of the fender. I am new to fiberglass. I also will probably go springless on the hood hinges unless someone can recommend a source for light weight springs.

Has anyone on the forum done a writeup, or have pics of how they mounted their fiberglass fenders?
    Thanks

I've heard certain jeep hood springs will work, and I think OPGI might have springs designed for thier firberglass hood? (if I'm thinking of the right website in my mind)

Thanks yeah I may go with light springs.
So no one has any data on mounting fiberglass fenders?
Is my question on the incorrect area of the forum?
