howdy yall, my gas pedal keeps coming off of the floor. its starting to get irritating. I want my car to look nice, and everytime i get in it i'm pedal-less any hints on how to make it stay on...i've tried everything from crazy glue to JB Weld. I stumped. thanx

This is a common problem with these gas pedals, the rubber gets used and the pedal doesn't hold to the small bolts on the floor. You should try to find one that is better in a junkyard.
That's what I did for my former 68 Wildcat.

That's what i thought i was gonna have to do. i thought about trying to drill through the bolts on the fool and put a new bolt or screw assembly with some JB weld to hold it. It'd show through the front, put i can use a black screw.

If the bolts are rusted, you could probably still order them from GM (I ordered some in 1995) or maybe you could try to fill the holes in the gas pedal with windshield urethane and let it dry before touching the gas pedal. I don't know if it would work but it might be worth the try if you don't find a good gas pedal.
I think that all full size Buicks (Le Sabre, Wildcat, Electra and Riviera models) from 1965 to 1970 have the same gas pedal.
