I am rebuilding a 350, and i can't seem to get oil up to my rocker arms. I know my oil pump is working, because i am getting a lot of oil up to my oil pressure switch. Is there a possibility that i have spun all my cam berrings? I doubt it, but i am having a hell of a time trying to figure out why there is no oil comming out of the push rods. any help would be great.
    Thanks,

    Matt

  2. I think if your 350 is a 68 or 69 engine then you wont get oil through the pushrods. i seem to recall those engines oiled through the block in to the head and through the rocker shafts. Bob

    Good Question

I don't know for sure about the small block Buick but GSSedan described the way the BBB worked in 67-68-69. Maybe post a question on the small block forum?
Is ANY oil getting to the rockers at all? I think I would try to figure it out and test with a pre-oiler rather than run the engine, at least until I was 100% sure the rockers are properly oiled.
