Are those wheels referred to as "spiders?" I had never heard of/seen those before someone recently posted a thread about them. Were those the popular back in the day? Cragars and slots were popular if memory serves.
Yes, those are Motor Wheel Spyders.....the same company that made the original chrome Buick wheels. That car will now get returned to how it looks in that picture because of my quest to collect a set of 5 inch BC Spyders for my 'Cat.I had to grab all nice 15 inchers that popped up in the last 10 years or so.I still need a very nice pair of 15x7's with the 5 inch bolt circle........finders fee :Brow: Peace WildBill
I believe we called them rocket wheels back in the day . Cragars were the most popular wheel . Damn I can remember when 10.00 bought a chrome reverse wheel ! :eek2: I'm sounding like a old guy here , better get going . ou:  :3gears: :TU: Oh yea , Sweet Picture Wild Bill ! :bglasses: :TU:
That car is AWESOME and I'm glad Guy is doing it up right. Years ago, when I was a teenage fool and REALLY into street racing, back when the Mustang GT was relatively new, (and EVERYWHERE) the races used to take place about 20 minutes from my house at the Westgate Mall in Brockton, MA. You would leave the light and race up hill and at the end was an off ramp. Basically, you had to navigate through oncoming (sort of) traffic at speeds of over 100 MPH....NOT good!! MAN, how I would love to pull in there with that thing some night!!
