We just had a write up done in the current issue of Muscle Car Enthusiast , March 2006 edition on porting a 350 Buick cylinder head. It's a pretty detailed article, you might want to check it out. The mag has a picture of the front of the new Dodge challenger on the cover. The article is titled Port Authority. Hope you enjoy. Jim Burek P.A.E. ENTERPRISES
Jim,not too sure if we can get that around here.Anyway you can post it here on the board or e-mail it? o No:
i have not seen that mag, is it a new one, will have to run out to bookstore now... :3gears: :3gears:
It looks like the article has been posted on the street/strip 455 section, you might check there. Jim Burek
Outstanding Jim. Will have to pick it up tomorrow. Is this something you wrote up? Good timing - we need the exposure. :Brow:
Bill, I did the pictures and a quick blurb about each one. the article was written and submitted to the magazine by Jefferson Bryant. I am pleased with the way the article reads. :beer to Jefferson Bryant.
I'll have to see if I can find it anywhere... maybe the parts store will have it. Congrats, I'm looking into headwork down the line and this will certainly shed some light.
Am not having any luck in finding this Mag. If some one has a source could I talk some one into getting and sending me a copy? Dan
I e-mailed the mag and they haven't responded. I asked them to name the dealers/outlests that sell thier mag in my area. No luck yet....
I found one before i read this thread i was really happy the 350 was getting some attention. Things are really looking up for us sbb guys. He maybe a blower kit next lol :eek2: I found mine at boarders books.
just got my issue (hand delivered by a forum member ..identity can not be given out) very good write up there....Congrats Mr.J.B also seems like a good little magazine ..maybe i subscribe
Barns and Noble is were I found one. I went to the mag web site. Clicked on News Stand button. A list of states came up. Clicked Illinois, and the list of news stands showed up. I got on the phone and got the number from information. Called the book store. THey had One left. They held it for me. Drove 55 miles one way to book store to get it. They would have sent it. 3.99 for the magazine and 1/4 tank of gas and 2.5 hours of driving and bingo got "IT". Call around before they are all gone because there is a grate write up on thr new Hemi Chalenger which may be why the mag is giong fast. Its not going fast because of the Hemi just the artical. HE he. DAno
mce@amosautomotive.com is their email.i thought everyone subscribed to this it is a very good read.buick articles fairly often, new stuff mixed in also.
Glad to see the exposure for the SBB. The intake flow numbers in the article would support nearly 500hp. However, a word of warning to those rushing out to get the mag, if you expect to see a how-to on how to get 280/200 numbers, this ain't it. Hey, head porters gotta eat too! If you are a novice who wants to learn how to do a good street-strip port or you just need a little affirmation before carving on your iron, Barnes & Noble carries this mag nationwide. Kudos to Jim Burek @ P.A.E. for sharing a few tips and his expertise with the general public. Thanks again, Mike T Covington, GA
