I do stock those but maybe some of you 1968 Experts can confirm if they're the same at 1970 - 72 Units ??? I do sell these as a kit if you need all of them with screws. . . . . I researched this before, #1383497 was discontinued by GM in Nov. 1990. There is no replacement number listed. #1385235's are what I used on my 1967 GS 400 car. One GM part can have many, many numbers which you can only find through a full set of supercession catalogs. A directional switch for a 1970 GS can have like 8 different part numbers that will work. If GM made a small change, the part got a new number. It could be the plastic color, a wire color, another hole, a notch in the part, etc. I believe the #1383497's may have been white or round. The height, the screw hole ID, the part that clips in the core support is the same size. That's what I know...
I to "assumed" they were the same other than the color. I just hate assuming when a customer is looking to spend money though. Thanks for the info Frank! .
