Headlight switch removal

    Has anyone hear conquered this demon? I haven't gotten far with trying to loosen the nut behind the dash, or the factory knob we pull, either. :Dou:

    Russ,
    There is no nut behind the dash. The Headlight switch is held to the dash by the plastic chromed bezel. It unscrews from the front of the switch. It will be easier to do once you remove the stalk. to do that, you must depress the little spring loaded button on the switch. It is on the surface of the switch, behind the dash, opposite from where the harness plugs in. If you depress the button, the stalk will pull out of the switch. Then unscrew the bezel with your hand, or use a screw driver in the center of the bezel while holding the switch body from behind. Here is a picture of the button.
