I have a set of cylinder heads I just obtained that I am trying to identify. The guy I got them from and I both think they go on a mid-70's Buick 350, but I am not for sure. Under the valve cover, they have the number 1243452 cast into them. Can anyone help me identify what these are? They still have the shaft rockers mounted on them and have the valve covers on them. Some of the factory paint is still visible on the valve covers--it is a light blue color.

Those are of a 1972-1980 Buick 350. Thats all the info you can get with that number.

There shouldnt be any blue on them. Thats for olds motors. Someone probably painted them in the past.

Im not sure on this but i remember hearing that later 70's buick heads had the year stamped on them.

Hope this helps.....dont worry though they are 350 buick heads.

I will look a litte closer tonight to see if I can find the year cast on the outside of them. Are these anything someone would be interested in purchasing? I got them in a package deal and don't really have any need of them. The only thing I was thinking of is if the valves in them have the same kind of retainer keepers and are the same length as the 300 valves, could I take the bigger diameter valves out of these 350 heads and machine out the seats in my 300 heads to use these larger valves to get more flow?
