Hello - This is my first post in the land of the small block. I am usually in big block territory! I am going to do a cam and intake swap on my brothers bone stock 1970 Skylark Custom. I was curious if anyone knew what size plug I should use to block off the exhaust crossover passages?

    Hey Ken,
There was a thread on the BBB forum on this subject. Don't know if its the same, but for the 455 it's an 18mm plug.

On my 350, i threaded the hole R1/2 but not full thread all the way down,(that way it can't vibrate its way down to the exhaust port. Then i added some exhaust cement on the threads on a allen head plug i got from a store that sells hydraulic parts. No drilling needed if i remember thing right.
This was sone years ago....but they are still in place :)
