Heater/A/C fan causing fuse failure?

    Anyone ever had a fan that caused fuses to pop after just a short time of running? Normally any fan I ever had that was failing made some type of noise but this one doesn't. The air works great for about 60 seconds then poof. I hate to have to pull the fender if that's not the issue.:Do No:

    Bad ground I bet. Is the ground wire in place on the fan inside the engien compartment? It has a star washer on it.

    I never even thought of that Dave. I'll have to check it out and see. Boy that'd be great if it was something that simple. Changing out the fan motor is a major PIA. Thanks.

    Eddie check the service manual. It should show a picture how it goes. I can send you a picture if you need it. My fenders are off.
