Heater core replacement

    Wasn't too bad of an operation, the chassis manual is a little vague, but I got it done in about 3 hours.

    I just removed the metal part of the dash(the knee panle on passenger side) removed the bolts in the engine compartment unhooked cables and such. took me about 8 hours( first one I ever did)Its nott tooo painful, just a annoying. Oh have the seat as far back as possiable

    Yeah, it's not bad, it took me a few minutes to figure out where to unhook that metal brace, but the nuts that secure it to the firewall for that are right next to the heater box nuts. It would be a little easier in a car that has no ACC as there are less vacuum lines running around down there.

    have a drain pan on the inside also

    Mine wasn't leaking when I pulled it out, but I had some old towels just in case it was. I hooked my garden hose to the intake spout on the old core and blew in it before I took it out to get as much coolant as I could out of the core.
