No problem. If you want to be super correct it was held on by a 3/8 Hex Head bolt that was only 1/2 long. That is not easy to find. It had a plain head and a plain washer was used. The original bolt was actually zinc. The bolt is the same part number used on the bolt that holds the ground strap to the passenger head. That is a good place to find one as all cars got those. All I have taken off had TR head marking. I have never figured out the correct playing on the washer as they are always rusty. I used phosphate.
Non A/C cars only. A/C cars had a piece of what looks like thick foam pipe insulation and a metal tie wrap holding the two hoses together
Kind of moving sideways on the thread...sorry! Nick had those, 'vettes used them, too. Not sure how long they are or what years used them. Like this... http://www.mamotorworks.com/Corvette/search
I didn't know they were reproduced. I've made a set before using thin galvanized metal sheets and tracing an original then cutting it carefully. The A/C muffler has one also that is much longer.
Vespas used them, they are on ebay. Some other stuff, too...I forget! The Vespa jobs are a little different, but once folded... I think they would work. You can use 2 0r 3 shorts linked together to make a long. I think maybe AMES had them, too.
