Hope this is the right section ? ok have a bunch of hei distributors This is my first buick 8 ( 350 ) its a 1970 and want to put HEI in I tried in-vane to search the #s on them i know chevy & caddy has dark blue on it i think 400 & up is different anyway maybe someone knows a site to research all these #s ? as all my searches just found chevy Thanks
Well, 1974 was the first year for the HEI in Buicks. I have the numbers from 74 here, http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?th...specs-1965-66-66-67-68-69-70-71-72-74.329332/ 1112802 was a 350 HEI 1112803 was a 455 HEI 1112521 was the Stage1 455 distributor. (L75) 1112520 was also fitted to Stage1 engines (L76)
Thanks guys for all that info. ok looking at pics of new dist. on ebay i could see the difference a pontiac is close buick has an O ring & drift pin is above the drive gear ( pontiac below ) anyway the #s on it are 1103275 6m13 so hope i am right ? i ordered a pertronix tune-up kit
