Thanks to all the staff for making me feel welcome on my first time joining the v8buick forum! I am new to the Buick brand but am very familiar with Chevy's. I hope to gain some knowledge and insight into restoring my 1971 GS back to original status. I would welcome any help or feedback from any member as to where to purchase sheet metal any exterior parts such as trim or bumpers? Thanks Again and look forward to feedback from the old school guys!! Buddy
"buddy71gs350": Please put your name in your signature, we are all here on a friendly first name base :TU: What about posting a few photos of your Buick, we would love to see those :kodak: And don't forget to put yourself on the map at the V8Buick board members map of the world :beer
Please introduce yourself in a new thread. Now it looks like you are one of those spammers, you started to post without a proper introduction and..... at a suspicious time of the day. So take away the doubt and tell us about yourself and your Buick :TU:
Have your bumpers re-chromed at Tri City in Elizabethton, Tn. You will need to be more specific about the trim and sheet metal you need.
Buddy, Welcome from Kernersville. Good luck with your project, lots of good resources on this site. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
Thanks to all who welcomed me! I have one request can anyone tell me how to download pictures from a SMART phone to this web page because I have tried everything and nothing seems to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Check the settings for the camera on your mobile. Or go to the photo in question in your gallery and check the data. Or.... send them to me
Here are the photos, James they were 5 times this size: 5312 x 2988 pixels original and over 4.210.688 bytes I've resized them to 1000 x 562 pixels :TU:
Thanks so much for doing that for me I hope everyone on the forum can view them and see what an uphill battle I have with this restoration! Any feedback good bad or indifferent is welcome. I love the car and I saw only potential when I bought it but parts for these cars are hard to come by which makes it even more of a challenge!
