I am 21 and I have driven my 76 Century for about 2 years. I am currently switching to another buick 350 because of a spun bearing I think. I bought a LM1 chevy 350 but decided my buick should stay buick. I also have a 72 buick wagon for parts, body is gone. It is a 455 buick, th400, tow package, possi. Sean
Welcome:beer I wish i would've not had to post here again, but for some reason or another, all the posts i posted last night were deleted!!!!!!!!:af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af:      I also own a '76 buick century, but with a little 231, but hey, it's still fast for what its power out-put is and the weight of car. Welcome:beer -Cody
Cody the 231 buick motor still has potential, it's not my preference but at least its not another cheby. I am very happy with my new buick motor it's in realy good shape, I spent the last 3 days cleaning it up, getting it ready for paint, and doing gaskets. I paid $150 for the full gasket set and valley pan for intake. Much more than a chevy would have been I'm guessing??
I also love the looks of the '76 century. I don't know what it is, they just have a unique, sort of stocky look to them that just makes them look good. Will you have or post any pics of your car? thanks -Cody
I have my car on the a body site's reader's rides. http://www.abodysite.com/rr76buickcenturysgaskin.html This car is going to get a new paintjob and much time and money, I will keep it forever!!!
