Hi, my name is Dean, I live in central Connecticut just outside of Hartford I own an 84 Regal with T-tops and a 78 regal, both V8's Check out the cars for sale forum as the 84 is for sale but doesnt run.. Also looking for a headlight switch for the 78 which is in the parts wanted forum:Brow: I'll be turning 18 this winter and my plans for the 78 include a motor swap (small block maybe chevy motor as I dont have much money and theyre cheap) and building up the motor, possibly juicing it up until i can hit 12.99s in the 1/4 mile, and have a sharp looking car :grin:

Hi Dean! Welcome to the board... Your 78 has a stock 5.0? I didn't know they put those in Buicks. Is it the 307 Olds? I guess I've never hear of it being called the 5.0ou: I love answering my own questions as I type them:grin:
yeah here was the stock badge on the fender, just before the door.. i guess it has the olds 307, i dont think it would come with a chevy 305o No: A motor shot, i did not put the edelbrock sticker there.. and here's my car primered, i havent gotten to paint it yet, but I think I'm going to get it painted black.:Smarty:
Doesn't look like an Olds motor to meuzzled: Maybe someone stuffed a ford 302 (5.0) in there and slapped some emblems on the fender. Have you bought parts for the motor yet? And have they fit?
i thought it might have been the chevy 305 but i didn't think they put them in these regals stock.. hmm.. Anyway, no, I haven't bought any parts for it yet but i will :beer
