Hi, My account just got confirmed a few days ago and I can't wait to start posting. Back in August I bought a 1967 GS400. I would like to put power disc brakes on it, maybe some different wheels, an aluminum intake, and some headers (if I can find some that fit lol)

Welcome Danny. I think you find some useful information on this website. Good luck with your '67 GS400. I think the '67 is the best looking of all of the '65-'74 Buick A-body cars.

I think it's the best looking too. This is the first Buick/muscle car I've ever owned. Before this the oldest car I had was from 1992, so it's a bit of a learning experience

Welcome, i'm in the process of a full restoration on a 67, nice cars. yours has a nice stance and wheels and tries would make it nicer (hang on to originals). If your going to use this as a driver i would focus on the drivability stuff. Engine tune (carb and ing.), transmission shifting smooth etc and same for rear axle/posi if it has it are is quiet. Then a strong tight steering, suspension and brakes as you described. The stock 400 has plenty of go and wont see much from an intake/headers only. make sure the engine is running well and cooling properly you can't keep tires under it;). Enjoy!

I agree, leave the 400 as is.

    Welcome aboard friend North Carolina!

    Love the 67’s too!

Back in the 1980’s Chamberland beat me to a bench seat 4-speed Stage 1 (was a divorce & owner was rarely there) looked through the neighborhood after losing the Stage 1 and scored a running 67 GS-400 for $150!

Loved that body style & sold the air cleaner for twice what I paid for the car (worth a WHOLE lot more these days of course but was fair at the time).

Looking forward to seeing your progress !

Welcome from Rougemont, NC from another 67 owner! The 67's are (to my way of thinking) the sleekest of the bunch!
