Hi to everyone ! Ive been 'lurking' here for a few days and man, what a great bunch of people who are into buicks.. I'm new to the buick 'fever', but mostly a gm man, with several chev pu's, camaros, and other assorted misc cars... found a 73 apollo completely stock with only minor midwest rust around rear fenders, and while doing web searches came across Larry Hodge's 'Lark on TA Performance 's web site...I was hooked !!!! I wanted a big 455 'Lark like Larry's...found a 78 'real project' car and a 71 455 motor for the project start. most of the articles relating to the engine swaps are targeted to the early 70's, but since the skylark came with small block's as available options, i'm hoping the frame pads will fit... so Hi to everyone, and I'm glad to be 'on board' Jim
Welcome! Well Jim, There's nothing wrong with being a fan of the General's other soldiers. The people here are pretty great! I've always had a paticular fondness for certain Bow-ties, and no one has asked me to remove the reference to it from my signature.:TU: Glad to have you join us.:beer
