help...17x7 on my 55???

  1. ok so i found out that that they do a 5x5 on the torq thrust II wheels i'm lookin at, will i be able to squeeze 17x7 underneath??? they have a back spacing of 3.75 and the offset is 0..

    you could always go to a good wheel shop. they should have the equipment to measure your car for the correct size and backspacing. american racing also will custom make the torq thrust with your specified backspace (within their perameters)

    Not that it is the same, but I have seen 17 inch torque thrusts on 55 - 57 Chevy's, and I think one guy told me they were standard backspacing.

    Fit and looked nice.
     
  4. ok...thanks.... i got my local shop to order some in 17's and they are gonna lemme fit em up n see if i have probs with the front end catchin er any. i'll keep ya posted....
