Help from Utah Buick folks? OK maybe Califnoria too?

I am posting this picture of my 68 GS California to see if anyone in Utah may have spotted it. Sold it a few years back and lost touch with my buddy that I sold it to. Sure wish I could find that beast.

Sorry Jason. I always keep my eyes peeled for skylarks and that is one that I would have noticed. I live in the SLC area so maybe some one else in another area has seen it.

Wow, that looks just like Ben Sadlier's car here in Elko, about 250 miles from SLC. He got it for $150 at a storage unit sale and had to build quarter panels and a whole bunch of body stuff, interior, etc. Sounds about like a former Utah car but I doubt it's the one. He has it painted red, with the black hood stripe and vinyl top. But I don't think it was a California but a GS400.

If you email your post to buickperformance@yahoogroups.com, Ben will see it and reply.

Not seen in the Ogden/Layton area. Utah is a big place, 5 hrs to cross it on interstate freeway at 75+ mph.

    Jason,

I do remember seeing that car years back. I live in the SLC area and will keep a keen eye out for it. I know what you have been going through to find it though, there is a little white haired lady driving a 70 Stage1 cream in color with a tow hitch on the back I have spotted on 3 or 4 different times and each time I get turned around I lose her! She must know what the go peddle is even after all those years!

Thanks for keeping an eye out guys. I am surprised that John K hasnt seen it. I actually sold it in Ogden when I was stationed at Hill AFB. Its been a few years so who knows. My buddy that I sold it to was from Ventura California so that is the other place I might start looking. Right now I have contacted the DMV in Utah and have sent out the paperwork with the VIN to see if they can help me out. Its out there somewhere.

A right-hand driver should be easy to spot too! :moonu:

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to see that. Mine was one of a kind.

  10. :puzzled: Ok, my assumption was that your image in the first photo was reversed before you posted it. That would make it look like a right hand drive car. No outside mirror on the left. And in the 2nd photo, THERE IS an outside mirror on the left side... :puzzled:

I haven't seen it in UT county either. If there is a buick around, it's spoted by me. My guess is it's stored away somewhere.

Yep, scanned it in and some how flipped it in photoshop. I was at work and in a hurry so I figured it would get the job done. Couldnt imagine a right hander buick.

If I dont figure out what happened to this car, I hope it is stored away. Sure wouldnt want to think it got parted and scrapped. That seems to happen all to often.
