    436'd Skylark Sweet Fancy Moses!!!!!

Was it possible to get the a 455, or a 400 in a Skylark with out the GS stuff? maybe for towing or something? I always wondered if that was possible. Like a fully equipped car or something. Some old guy might want the power with out the look. Any ideas?

The custom wagon was available with the 400 in 68-69 as an option.
I susspect it MIGHT have been possible to "get" a 455 in a fully loaded wagon in 70-72, but have no proof whatsoever, and others have said "no, it's not"... But who knows.

I don't think you could get a Skylark with factory big block. I know my '72 brochure doens't list a 455 for the Skylark. And sometimes its hard to tell a GS from a Skylark anyways, especially for a brand x'er.

No big blocks in non-GS A-bodies (except 68-9 Sportwagons) until the 1973 (74?) Century.
