hello everyone my name is Terry and I have some question or advice needed on this subject on building my car.. I have six kids in my family hers, mine and ours..lol my question is i have a 1987 buick regal and a 1981 buick parts car i'm on a very limited budget with spending the 87 was said to overheat and front clip needed replaced been in the process on this over 2 months due to activities with kids and honey do list, wanted to know what would be the cheapest way to build this car on less than a beer budget? really like this car would hate to get rid of it just because lack of time or money i'm a very patient person and i love the body style think it could be the camaro of tomorrow sine the parts are out there and plenty of these cars..any help would be greatly appreciated and have a nice day...Terry
Welcome, Terry! Sounds like a good project. I say the cheapest way to go is dump a 455 in it, they have loads of torque in stock form. That's just my $.02. Someone in the "Regal w/extra cylinders" section would probably be able to help ya better since they've been there and done that. Patrick
