Help needed on my 1961 Buick Lesabre with 364 and Dyna flow Transmission

    I would like to know if the 1961:pray:Dyna flow Transmission has a filter and if so where would I get a new one and a gasket to seal the deal? Photo0878.jpg

    I'm not sure about the filter. I don't know much about those new Buicks. But I know I like that Buick of yours!. And, those WW tires set off the paint combo VERY Nicely!!
    Hopefully, this bump will get your post some notice..........

    My '59 manual (I'm assuming the transmissions are pretty much the same) says "Remove oil pan and oil screen, clean thoroughly, and reinstall. Install and tighten drain plugs and filler pipe, then install bell housing cover."

    That is correct. There is not a "filter", but rather a cleanable screen. In terms of a gasket, I'd check with CARS Inc.
