i know this guy that has a 1968 g/s 350 conv..he lost his job & he is wanting to sell it for $7000.oo .it is a matching # car & runs,but needs restoration.is a a/c car ,400 engine,bench seat,ralleye wheels,conv.top is shot,etc.is this a good price ?any comments would help.thanks tom,you can also e-mail me at alliedplg@sbcglobal.net.
First, if it is a 68 model, it can't be a GS350. There were no GS350 convertibles in 68. There WERE convertible GS400's however, in 68. There were also Skylark Custom convertibles. I think you need to identify what model car he really has before making any offers. And 7k sounds a bit high, but as I said, there's a lot of missing information here. Get some pics and post them here, and get the VIN, that tells the true story, usually... This car sounds a lot like a 68 that was discussed on the board recently.
