Help on main seal/How to

    I need some help with putting rear main seal in my Buick 455 block. I'm using a rope seal:Do No: This is my first Buick motor. Need to know soon. Putting motor together 1/16/04. Any other building tips would be helpful.

    Use a neoprene seal. Easier to install and more reliable.:Smarty:

    Do use that seal unless you like seeing that oil on the floor. You will get to see it again real soon if you use that seal.
