The stainless on top of both doors and the rear quater windows on my 70 Rivi is held on with screws that, with the exception of the ones on each end, are behind the window. I have removed the trim from the rear quarters and have removed the end screws from each peice on the front doors, but cannot get to the ones behind the glass. The manual says to remove the lower stop and lower the window to get to these. However, the photos and diagrams for "E" styles in the body manual do not show bottom stops, only upper stops. I would rather not have to remove the glass to get to the screws. Is there some way to get the windows to go down further so I can get acces to the screws? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
