Hey All, Could someone send me a photo of where the throotle linkage spring goes on my 66 Skylark 300 V8? I pulled the motor and went through it, put it back in and now I am at a loss as to where it gets connected to? I know it sounds really bad but I am a amature (Don't give me to much grief!) ha ha o No: ou: Thanks for the Help! Tom
Hmmm, hope this helps... When I got my 66Skylark (300) it was like this: (the spring sorta looks like this) C_____///////////////////////--------\_________ It was in my car between the powersteering upper bracket and the throttle cable & carblinkage. I put the straight end into the hole then pulled the spring back to meet the carb linkage (the C goes where the throttle rod meets the carb linkage, and the opposite end goes into the small hole drilled on the powersteering bracket) :bglasses:
