help with casting numbers

    I have some 350 and 455 heads with different numbers,can anybody give me a clue what they are as far as year and cc's
    350 1237650
    1243452
    455 1238148
    1241860
    I also have some seat belts,what do these codes mean 50A71
    03A71
    15A72

    Casting numbers usually differ from part numbers.
    Ex: '71 455 heads P/N 1240144 casting number +/- 1234567( not a real # )
    '71 455 Stage 1 heads P/N 1240146 casting number +/- 1234567
    Both will have the same casting number, but since they have been prepped differently,they will each carry a different P/N.
    Others here can fill you in on any obvious or discrete differences. Oiling & cooling passages,for example, may differ from year to year.

    1237650 = 1971, 58cc
    1243452 = i'm not crossing this at all in either the big or small block numbers, not even for a replacement head. typo? i don't have all of the small block casting numbers either though....

    1238148 = 72, 71cc
    1241860 = 73 or 74, 71cc

    you're on your own for the seatbelts. :pp

    thanks guys Are 70 350 chambers smaller than 58 cc's?
