Can someone check me on this process?

    1 Sand metal
2 Hit area with wire brush /cup on drill or grinder
3 treat with some sort of rust protectant(acid)
4 Wash/clean metal from using acid
    5 Dry with shop air
6 Clean again with wax grease remover
7 Wipe with clean tack cloth
8 Shoot 2 coats of epoxy primer
9 Shoot high build primer for any areas with minor pitting? or use filler?
10 Body filler in areas for dents as needed
11 Shoot epoxy primer over areas that needed filler

    Is this the basic process?

If I had pitting I would sand, treat with picklex, apply filler to fill pits and dings, sand, degrease, shoot epoxy, shoot high build - block sand with guide coat, shoot high build again, block sand with guide coat.

you only need to reaply epoxy if you end up with large areas of bare metal after sanding
