What would you think about starting a fund raiser for all the victims of the Tsunami :Do No:

I realize you have a lot on your plate right now but it would be a great way to show how much the V-8 Buick Community cares.

    What your thoughts :Comp:

Dont take this wrong I heard they dont need money as bad as help.
but I was listening to a broadcast from there and the problem is money is there but no way to get into the regions to help with it. My church donated $20k or 30K to a fund but found out the money is just setting since they cant get it into the area to use it to help. What the broadcast said was they needed volunteers to help with the rebuilding process more than anything.

The Salvation Army is currently putting togeather a full crew of people to go Sri Lanka and assist with the reconstruction. Major Anderson in Oak Creek WI. is spearheading the effort to get these crews sent over. He was a missionary in the southern part of Sri Lanka for several years, and is familiar with the area and how to get people and supplies into the region. It is anticipated that crews will leaving sometime in Feb. Their initial goal is to rebuild 100 houses for families that lost them in the tidal wave.

I have considered donating monies, but wanted to make sure the money went to the people that needed it. My family is making donations to this group, because of ther efforts to help others. I would like to recommend donations be forwarded onto the S.A. for their ongoing efforts to assist others in times like these.
