Wow, after a long break I'm am back to the boards, and it feels good. Well, the Riv is still running fine and fast! The 455 has broken in nicely so far and boy dos it sound mean. It really has a lot of top end, way more than I really would have thought. There is this one question though, whenever I lay into it at high speeds I here a small stutter and smell a kinda burning, a rubber-burning smell. Is it possible that I'm running a too small carb for top end runs like that? I know the secondarys work, but Im only running a 750 cfm on a 464ci. I hope it isn't the tranny. Anyway, I'll be buying a 825 Demon General Comp carb, and a little later I think I'm going to spring for TA aluminum heads, oh and posi, does anyone know anyone sell s good posi for a 67-2nd gen-Riv?
