It's got two numbers on it; AC95M 107 It came out of my BBO 403. (In the '77 Rivi) (California Equipped, if that matters) I thought it was a oil temperature light sensor. (rearrange the words there to where they make sense.) I've been to: Advance AutoParts, O'Reilly's, AutoZone, and Napa. They've all come up with the same thing, but completely different from what I need. Any information will be extremely helpful. Thanks guys. BTW, I think it's leaking oil from there, that's why I want to replace it.

I've got an oil leak somewhere-and before this post, I was under the impression that it was the Oil Sending Unit-and it had oil all over it on the outside. Don't get me wrong, I could be way off. But that's why.
I would just clean it up, put some Teflon tape on the threads, and put it back in.....See what happens.
Doesnt that screw into a blind accessory hole in the side of the head? A blind hole meaning that it hass a bottom and doesnt break though the head. Put screwdriver in the hole and verify. If so, it cant leak oil. Oil drip down, so if it was full of oil, its likely that whatever is above that is leaking and dripped oil on it. Valve cover gasket perhaps?
BBO 403 is Oldsmobile, or not? I had an Olds for 28 years and changed the valve cover gaskets at least twice because of leaks.
Yes sir, it is an Olds. And thank you all for the advice and tips. Looks like tomorrow I'm going to have to dig a little deeper, now. I'll check to see how bad the gaskets are, and hopefully it's that easy. lol. Thank you guys!
It's more correct to name it the "SBO" (Small Block Oldsmobile) since it's the 403 CI / 6.6 litre V8 :TU: The 400, 425 and 455 are BBO engines. Edit: I've made a few scans to point out the difference between the SBO and the BBO: Full pages: Click thumbnails :Comp: .
I am more familiar with Olds prior to 76(mostly the 455). It can cause confusion that the 403 is a small block and the 400 is a big block. Confusing also, the 403 being found in cars other than Olds.........
Buick used them on the big cars with 455. Temp. switch closed once the head reached "XX" temp.. Once closed it allowed current flow to another relay that controlled the heater fan. Didn't want anyone to have raw cold air blowing thru the car on a Winter day. Blind hole, usually RH side head, near the firewall.
