Hey everyone, Im Paul im 17 and from augusta Ga. I have an 84 Cutlass with the buick 231, but its on the verge of death(oil pump going). So, im hopeing to swap a buick 350 in. Is this a fairly straight forward swap? im hoping i can get it done quickly cuz, right now i have no transportation to and from school etc..

Ive been on Oldspower.com for a while asking around, but i thought id come here for some expert advice... The pair of engines im hoping to buy are supposedly a 69 and 72 BUT they also both have spun bearings.. I know i gotta pull the crank and stuff to fix this. am i over looking anything? is there normally any other damage to the internals when this happens?

    Thanks for any input guys.

I think you can put the 231 motor mounts on a 350 Buick and drop it in.
