Motors out!! :TU: Just burned off the old frame pads, right now I'm replacing shocks and I'm still waiting on TA Performance for the correct Cam bearings.....had a little SNAFU, but I talked to Uncle Mike and we are all straightened out now. It happens o No: So target date is for BPG Nats...........tracking down a rearend as we speak. :beer Now about this wiring mess..........I think I only need 5 out of 500!! ou:

BTW, I know a guy with a dismantled 84 Hurst Olds. He wants $2500 for it. Its got an 8.5 rear. Maybe buy it for the rear and part it out?

Yeah, your right, this 455 buildup will only make about 350 HP, No need for a new rearend.... :Brow:

 

I thought a stock 71-455 made more HP than that?

Eggs is building a 500+ hp 455 for PROJECT 86 and I've landed a Ford 9". I've just got to get TA to send me the right cam bearings to finish off the motor and get my rearend setup and have some changes to the brackets. The tranny is going to be a short shaft Turbo 400. Its built and ready to go. The motor is out of the gray car. I need a radiator and a crossmember. I've got the mounts for the mach up. My brother has a bare 455 block, so when I get crossmember I'll be ready for the mach up. :grin:
