not Buick related... I bought a 95 Cherokee 4wd SE, not Grand Cherokee, from a county auction... I think 94-2001 are all the same, this is a basic Cherokee SE desperately need the lower dash assembly that unscrews easily from the dash itself, covers the whole lower dash area from left to right it is medium gray.... finder's fee and shipping paid for a MINT panel thanx
Jim, I have a 99 that I am parting and I think it has a dark gray or possibly black dash. I will have to check tomorrow at work. Call my cell tomorrow to remind me. (914) 447-6068 John
thanx John, I went and found 17-18 cars today in boneyards, and EVERY single one had a shattered lower dash :blast:  i'm a thinking now that a 99 won't work.... I need the full one piece and I think they went to 2 piece in 98ish... i'll email a pic of what i'm looking for
Hey John, Is that jeep all wheel drive with a 5.2 or is a 4.0 looking for a A518 Transmission for my 94 jeep
Jim, There's a guy in PA who does nothing but fix wrecked Jeeps, I know he has a ton of Cherokee parts' and such. If you want, I'll get you the number...Rob
Jim, I spoke to a buddy of mine and he told me his shop burnt down last year, but unsure if he still deals with the Jeeps. The gentleman's name is Preston Beaver, and if he doesn't have something I'm sure he might know where to get it. All he did was rebuild late-model Cherokees. You can reach him at 570-539-2007.
discontinued, in any color I just came back from yet another boneyard, and finally found one in tan, dusty but pretty decent, one very small crack on the bottom, gonna try and spray it to match, it took climbing inside over 30 cars in 8 junk yards to even find this one panel... Keith, what aerosol paint should I use to try and match the medium gray color? I cut the a/c controller wiring harness out of 6 cars for spares, seems they like to melt these pretty often, out of 30+ cars I only found 6 that weren't melted, of the 6, two are mint.. one 1996 car had 390,999 miles showing, and it had the best harness and interior of all of them..
SEM makes buzz bombs in a few different colors of gray for painting the trim on bumpers, we've used it before on interior stuff, worked great and has the right sheen to it. Call up your local auto paint supplier.....
Jim, Sherwin Williams Body Shop Supplies carries SEM dye in-stock or can get your color in a day or two. Visit www.sem.ws to get the correct color code for the dye.
