Apperantly on American Musclecar, this May 12th and 14th, there will be a Marauder show. The fine folks from American Musclecar came up to Michigan this year and had Brian run the supreme #$%^ out of his car for this show. Should be fun to watch. Brian will be slotting time for autographs at this year PSMCDR! Go Brian. Should be good, as long as they don't interview you! :pp

Thanks Pete. Stan, the shows producer, said they used a bunch of the driving footage and some of the interview clips.

I think they cut out the parts where I actually opened my mouth...

I asked him if the burnout shot came out well, he replied that they used it twice. :3gears:

Brian, you done good boy! Didn't drool all over yourself or nutin' like that.

I really like your 58 Super Maurader tri-power with the cast aluminum air filter housing. Only other one of them I have ever seen was at a swap meet in Laporte Indiana about 20 years ago. The guy wanted $ 400 for it, manifold, carbs and air cleaner, complete. Passed on it, then went back to buy it a little later and it was gone. :ball: They really are a rare piece.

I think it was about a tie for face time between you and Keith Maney, but you got the best part cause you got to drive. :beer

    Ya done good!!

Mr. Stefina: You are quite the articulate Mercury Historian! :TU:
The best part was your little driving sequence in the beginning of the program. Whereas most of the folks filmed on this program are always stone-faced, eyes-straight-ahead pilots, you look over your left shoulder at the camera, give that :Brow: ~smirk~ :Brow: , drop it a gear, and you're outta camera view in a second accompanied by the sound of all 8 barrels opening up! :3gears:
Of course the REAL star is your Merc!

Not saying this just because we know him......

I think last night's show was one of the best, if not The Best episodes
    of American Musclecar!
    Atta Boy Brian :3gears:

I'll give it a 4 1/2 outta 5 stars :TU: The producers would have got 5 stars if
they would have spent just a minute making sure the audience heard that in
    1958 there was a 430 cubic inch engine making 400 H.P.!!!!!1958!
That whole engine(super cool air breather)look's to be about 10 years ahead
of it's time, when compared to what the other manufacturer's had :eek2:

I know exactly what part of the show Frank is talking about where Brian
smirks at the camera  Cool :TU:

And yes, I would have to say Brian is the new media whore

Damn, I missed watching the show last night as I was putting the rugrat to bed. Fortunately, I taped it. Looking forward to seeing Brian on camera. The question is, did the camera put on the extra 10 pounds? :spank:

Pay no attention to the car behind that man...

    Thanks everybody! :TU:

I'm glad you enjoyed it, makes it all worth while.

I was kinda nervous but ended up very happy how it all came out.

Rusty, they are running it again Saturday the 14th at 9am and Thursday the 19th at 9am if the tape didn't turn out. (shameless self promotion)

BTW '58 430 tripower engines don't exist. :Brow:

But what was that barge X100 at the end of the show? YUK. Loved the 56's in the old Nascar clips. I was expecting to see some Chrysler 300's in those clips. They were the terror back then.

Yes they were. Especially those "FULL JEWELED :Brow: " specials from Karl. Lots of early NASCAR history in my area. I can tell you who gave Bill France Sr the suits and a Hudson to be able to go out and promote NASCAR:Smarty:.

    Brian on the tube -

Me watching TV last night with the kids " HEY, I KNOW THAT GUY!!"

Good job Brian - I liked the way the camera jerked when you grabbed gears.

I still would rather take your car out for Saturday night than any other in the PS/FAST group! :Brow:

    Nice

I can say I knew him in his James Dean days.. Maybe I can sell all those Bud light bottles I have that he drank on E-Bay. Very nice show. I loved the excess of burnouts and motion shots.. VERY VERY nice!!
My fav was the turn your head -smile-and drop the hammer shot.
You know the producers are won over when they give you more time than BUD MOORE!!
Boy I thought the Blue Comet would be a bad A$$ - That thing sounded SAD

Yesterday morning, just after the 9:00 AM "showing", I got a phone call from a mutual friend of ours down in Arizona ....

He told me that he has his TV setup as his alarm clock. Set on SpeedTV for 6:00 AM Pacific time. The TV went off, and as he was rolling around in bed, he heard Brian's voice. :eek2: Can you imagine hearing Brian's voice while you were in bed ......... Talk about a shocker !! :puzzled:

PS -- Bob Jr. says "great show" ......... :TU:

    Brian,

Thanks for listing the rerun times for this episode. I have a good friend locally who has a restored 64 390 Marauder 4 door that I want to be able to tape the episode for. He also has a 2 door 64 Marauder in the pink or corral color that the episode showed a shot of too. The beauty of his baby blue 4 dr Marauder is that it was his Dad's car bought new, and he was brought home from the hospital as a newborn in that same car! Wonder how many of us could say that?? Great job BTW as I catch most all of the shows in this series.
