One of the weld nuts in the inside of the hood where the hood hinge bolts to is missing and needs to be fixed. What's the best method of doing this? I was thinking of cutting out the area where the nut is, rewelding the nut on the backside, and then welding the whole piece back in. Only thing is I'm not sure if there's any structural reinforcement there that would make it difficult. I don't want to mess up the hood as it's in great shape otherwise.
