I am getting my 67 CA GS back from paint next week, and I am going to need to re-attach my hood scoops to the hood. I wanted to see if anyone could tell me what material would have been used,or should be used between these two parts. When I took them off they had a very thin bead of whiteish putty like compound between them, sound like factory?. Any help would be great.
