Hood Tach Position

    Hello, I need the measurments for mounting the hood tach on a 71 GS hood. If anyone has them or any advice on mounting them please let me know. Any help would be appreciated.

    just a tip.......get your self a hole saw, drill the pilot hole with a regular bit, use that that hole to guide the hole saw in the exact spot.
    I think I used a 3 5/8" hole saw and the tach fit in there real good but the instruction's as you can see call for a 3 3/4" hole.
