Both my kids just got their licences & I stressed to be aware of surroundings & just get used to looking @ every sign to where you don't even think about it.
Was out in the front mowing yesterday afternoon. As I nearly always do, I mow a part of the neighbors yard which borders mine up to his driveway. Looks better than a line in the middle of the grass. A SUV with a minivan following pulled in their drive. It was a realtor with a client to look over the house. She stopped and motioned me over. Shut down the mower, she asked if I was the owner. Replied no, neighbor. Lady explained who she was and why they were there. I asked her to please tell the prospective buyer I owned a race car and was a car guy. Also asked to extend my offer to purchase that back 5 acres for cash if they didnt want to deal with the extra land Saw them get out of the cars and talk for a few as I was riding the mower around. Stayed about 15 mins, loaded up and left. As the buyers were exiting the driveway they stopped at the end for 30 - 45 sec staring at the strip of road in front of my place covered in burnouts. Wonder if they'll be back?
Interesting. I did see a agent showing the property last Sunday but as of now the sign is still up. no" Pending" notice. Was going to make a warning sign of sorts to post near their driveway as notice of my intentions. Always makes me nervous getting a new neighbor. When the house on the other side sold I lucked out and got a senior couple. very quiet and loves cars. but with 500-600 ft between houses its not that big of a deal if there assholes
