What's up? I have a 1968 Buick Riviera and I want my heater working before I get the interior re-upholstered.
I don't know how to take apart the dash...don't know ANYTHING about hooking up what wires or vacuum lines to get the darn thing working. All research attempts have failed. PLEASE HELP!!!

Respectfully suggest you beg, borrow or steal a '68 Buick Shop Manual !
All the info you need, and more, will be found in that manual, a great investment, if you plan on keeping your car in working order !
Check on evilBay, or other auto literature sources. They run about $25 to $75. :TU:

I would check first under the hood for heat in the hose to the heater core after the heater contol valve. If after the engine warms up you feel the hose before and after the valve and there is no heat on the side going to the passenger side firewall, the valve is not working. It could be the valve or the vacuum to the valve.
