how do i know what engine it is?

    sorry if this is a repeat question

    i have a Buick engine in a 67 international truck
    im sure its a buick by the manifold intake says 1249169-3

    on the drivers side underneath on the block says 350

    where are the engine numbers?
    how do i know what it is?

    Looks like a 75 350

    thats great but i was kinda wondering where on the "engine" i could find the numbers..
    sorry for the misunderstanding

    oh hah....


    Well, there are casting numbers on the heads, intake, and block. Those will tell you what year and size engine it is. And then there are the two-letter codes on the deck of the block between the spark plugs on the drivers side. This will tell you the application the motor went to.
