How many cans of trunk paint?

Need to paint the inside of the trunk at some point with splatter paint.

I bought 3 cans of Easton splatter spray cans that are supposed to be pretty close (not a show car).
The can says will cover 6 to 8 square feet.

How many cans have you guys needed before?

I used the AC Delco stuff and painted the trunk with a black rubberized coating first, but I think I used 3 rattle cans.

 

I used 4 in the trunk of my '59.

Make sure you have a black primer/base; green epoxy tinted my spatter paint.

I order 3 from Eastwood and had to get 3 more used it all.

 

Tube 3-4.... I think I bought 3 of the Delco paint... Just about covered the base. I would get 4 to be safe...

 

Well, 6.5 cans of primer and 5 cans of Eastwood trunk spatter paint. That gave me 2 coats on everything and a light 3rd over the main bottom section. Now need to wait for the clear coat to come in. If your wondering, I ordered 2 drain plugs to cover the 2 holes someone cut "in case" those frame to body bolts gave them problems but luckily they didnt.
