Now that I notice, MOST of the cars that I've owned are V8 POWERED! I never noticed that before, but I guess it's a "pattern"! That just proves that I'll ALWAYS own V8'S (no matter HOW MUCH gas costs)!:bglasses::TU:

Wow, Bruce! It's all your fault, too! No more Buicks. No more Buicks. No more Buicks. HEY, Guess what I just found today? ANOTHER BUICK! :Dou::laugh:

It's funny, when you read some of these lists, including my own, you can get a pretty good idea of the milestones in people's lives like marriage (late models) or when kids come along (mini vans)
    Interesting.

  14. RobertSchmelzer

    RobertSchmelzer The Glassman Cometh

    Hmmmm. Let's see...........

    1. 1973 Ford Galaxie 500. (Hey, I had to learn sometime!)
    2. 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury Brougham 4dr. ( This car was a
cruiser. Would float down the highway at 100 easy.
North Platte NE to Scribner NE in 2 1/2 hrs. on two
lane blacktops. Saw only one state patrol!)
    3. 1971 Chevrolet 1/2T P/U. (Bought it in Maryland and drove
it to Gila Bend AFAF, AZ and then to San Diego, CA and
up to L. A. when I was in the Air Farce--uh--Force)
    4. 1982 Chevrolet S-10 2WD Longbed P/U (Ran a 17.61sec. 1/4
    mile with a 3rd gear scratch with a stock 2.8L V-6/5spd)
    :3gears:
    5. 1979 Chevrolet Nova 2dr. 230 I-6 Auto. (Was actually Mom's
car but I put my share of miles on it so thought I'd include
    it on the list.)
    6. 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 2dr. 231 V-6 Auto. (Definitely NOT a
drag car but did get a couple speeding tickets in it on the
interstate. Also got "Bambi" one night!)
    7. 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 2dr. 307 V-8 Auto. (Would do a hell
    of a burn out!!)
    8. 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 2.5L Auto. (Bought this one
when the 231 locked up in the Delta 88. 214,000 miles
when I "donated" it to the county for leaving it parked on
the street too long without plates!!)
    9. 1984 Buick Century 4dr. 3.8L Auto. (A real electrical nightmare
due to some idiot hacking up the wiring.)
    10. 1989 Buick Skylark 4dr. 2.5L Auto. (Paid $40 bucks for it and
did a valve job to it. Put over 50,000 on it. This was
probably the best car I've had for the money. And, hey,
    a Buick at that!!!):Brow:
    11. 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 4dr. 2.5L Auto. (Bought from a
co-worker for $75 bucks. Put a reman head on it for $65
and a set of timing gears. A real rust bucket but ran
good. Drove it for about a year and donated it to
    Salvation Army.)
    12. 1989 Oldsmobile Regency 98 3800 V-6 Auto. (Had all the
electronic gadgetry! A real fancy car in it's day. This is the
car Greg has that he refers to as "not a Buick but a Buick
    motor.")
    13. 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1L V-6 Auto. (Mama's
car! "Mama" aka "da wife." Okay! I don't really own it
but I have to work on it!!)
    14. 1988 Plymouth Voyager 2.5L Auto. (Paid $50 bucks for it and
put a used head and transmission in it. Now has a
problem dying for some reason. :af: )
    15. 1987 Dodge Caravan 3.0L Auto. (The Family Truckster.
Presently "comatose." Had to replace transmission as
reverse went out and now for some reason it won't
start! Stupid POS!! I think I am done with Chrysler
    Minivans!!) :blast:

There ya have it. Fifteen in all. Maybe a Buick for the next one!!:Brow:
