I started to pull off my old trunk weather stripping and it come off in pieces. Does anyone know of a better way and how do you clean the channel for the new stuff? Thanks for any input or suggestions!
Thanks Korrie I will try the heat gun on the rest and will have to use the release on the area that I peeled away and the glue stayed behind.
Nah! Go with 3M. I've used the 3M Release Agent on a car with perfect paint (mine). I didn't hurt the paint. When they say "release" they mean it. It works great.
If your not concerned about the paint and you are going to repaint like me take a wire brush on a drill. It will clean it all off to the bare metal. :TU:
