How to remove the carb from a 455???

    Hello,

    i removed the 2 bolts from the rear of the carb, as well as the various hoses and lines, but i dont know how to remove the throttle linkage????

    and the linkage on the pass side of the carb!!!!

    Sorry im a newbie from NZ so i maybe unbeknowest to whats required!!!

    Any help appreciated!!! Il attach some pics when i know how to

    The linkage is a snap in fit ball /socket if stock. There are two short bolts in the front. There is a little hair clip to remove for the stock choke arm. When you put these bolts back measure the torque for these bolts with a torque wrench. If you do not you may warp the flange and cause an air leak. This will cause the engine to run rough. Buy a fresh gasket too.
