I've got a passenger-side mirror w/ remote control, and the cables have stretched to where there's too much slack. Looks like the end of each cable has a crimped-on end, is there a way to tighten up the cables? New crimp-on ends available anywhere? I'm open to just about any idea on this one... :Do No:

it might sound weird but I had the same trouble with my drivers side mirror. I cured the problem by putting a loop in the cable.

Hadn't thought of that, I'll give it a shot - Thanks! :TU:

don't mean to highjack your post, but

since you may have a solution to your problem, and this is sorta related-my driver's remote mirror has the three cable ends, but two of ema cam out of their holes in the mirror backing. Is there a way to fix this? I took a good look at it today, and it looks like the ends just pulled out of there, but will not likely work properly again. Is that right? or is it fixable?
