Could some 54 to 64 Buick owner (especially 55) can confirm that the first 3 digits of the VIN all begin like the following exemple : If we consider the cars are made and/or sold in the USA , if you know where your car was made(plant) to confirm that this way of decoding VIN is correct , that would be greatlly apreciated . No need to have your complete VIN , just wanna know if that read like this ..... : :Smarty: 1st digit : Model serie (4=Special,5=Super,6=Century,7=Roadmaster) 2nd digit : Year (A=54,B=55,C=56,D=57,E=58,F=59,G=60,H=61,I=62,J=63,K=64) 3rd digit : Assembly plant (1=Flint,2=South Gate,3=Linden,4=Kansas City,5=Wilmingon 6=Atlanta,7=Framingham,8=Arlington) i.e. : a Buick's VIN starting with 5E6 would be a 1958 Super built in Atlanta , or 7B1 is a 1955 Roadmaster built in Flint , etc . I'm 75 % sure but I need your help ! Thank you , for Canadian Buick it's a completly different way until 67 who are more the same of the US Buick , for example my VIN read the same as an US Buick Thank you
