Thanks for the B-Day wishes guys. I just got back from a steak and crabcake dinner :) :beer :)

I can not wait to try the new Ron's setup. It runs nice at idle and has lots of throttle response but I still need to get it to the track to see if it helps the ET. :Do No:

My local track 75&80 Dragway is closing after this their 45th season. Too much development has already restricted track operations. Now with the property value skyrocketing and the owners old age he is forced to sell out. Now I may have to move to Ohio or closer to Cecil County Raceway.

Any alcohol tuning tips :Smarty: would be appreciated (timing, spark plugs, plug gap, etc...???)

    Thanks
    Mike

Hey Mike, Happy Birthday (belated)! Hope you didn't drink too much alky......

That engines going to be one thirsty beast......don't alky engines use more fuel per pass? Or is that just because you have to warm them up more?

You might need a colder plug. What about timing? More/less or same?

Yes, it going to be a sad season at 75/80 Dragway. Owner has cancer and could close it at any time. But...this will be the last season in any event.
Been going there since 1980....many fond memories.
Has had the same owner/manager and the same guy (Jake) at the starting line for 45 yrs!!!! You'd think the starting line guy would be the one with cancer!
Good ole rubber fumes and CAM2 fumes....

I was afraid I'd not have JAGUICK built before it closed....at least that worked out. "Rented" the track for testing (no clocks) and he wouldn't take any money.
MOTORWEEK does their testing there....they'll have to find another place, too.......
