anyone point me in the right direction? I see that Glasstek sp? makes one. Has anyone used these ? Are they reinforced on the edges for the hinges and do they accept the original mechanism to latch at the front? Any other options? Does anyone have an original they would sell ? Thanks for your help.

I have new fiberglass, GS hood. It is a pin on type. I can post pics if interested.

I installed one on my 72 convertible. Used the original hinges but different springs. I also had to use hood pins as they don't recommend using the latch.

Are the Glass-tech set up to allow the installation of the original latch?

I would not even consider fiberglass for anything other than a race car

I ran a pin on glass hood on the street on my 70 Skylark for years..I also used the factory latch with Dzus's at the end.
